It’s always sad when a movie ends up being a complete and utter letdown. We set our expectations higher than this movie deserved and were only left disappointed by the end. The highlight of the movie: the relationship between Domino and Choco. It was undeveloped, with horrible pacing, and an end that left us screaming at our TV’s/computers, but it was there. The lowpoints? just about everything else. The barely strung together plot, the soundtrack- if that’s what we want to call it, and of course the acting. No, this was not the high point of knightly’s career. She wouldn’t have much of a career if it was. And don’t get us started on the randomness that was this movie. Reality TV? Sex in the desert? The missing part 9 in the Youtube link? Fingers crossed for a better try next time.

When a movie blows your mind. This one will not be forgotten anytime soon. With a score that high it made it somewhere in the top 5, I’m sure. Everything about this movie stayed with you from Brad Pitt’s incredible character to the twist that I never saw coming. It was definitely up there and the scores show that perfectly.

The kind of movie that you watch for its characters vs. the actual storyline. And that’s just fine. You went along with the movie, letting these people discover a bit of themselves along the way. Natalie portman portrayed a character far from her usual and though she was a compulsive liar she was lovable and relate-able. Zach Braff wrote and carried the movie decently, while Peter Sarsgaard manages to be just as creepy here as he was in An Education. But when we look back, nothing really happened. It wasn’t as memorable or witty or funny as we had originally hoped. It passed as good movie. Barely.
